Summary

The long-term vision of Radgonske gorice d.d. remains a moderate increase in sales and market share both at home and abroad. In addition to doing business carefully and creating as much added value as possible, we are also concerned about the environment. Concern for the environment is also a substantial part of the investment, which consists of the purchase of new equipment needed to invest in adapting to climate change and investing in implementing technological improvements and reducing production costs.

Main activities

The planned investment is to purchase new equipment for vineyard production to maintain the health of the vines and soil, reduce greenhouse gases and improve the quality of the company's production. The acquisition plan thus includes the purchase of grape harvesting machines with the necessary attachments.

Objectives

The funds obtained through this call for proposals will help the farm to achieve the following objectives:

  • modernising and increasing agricultural production
  • increasing economic and environmental efficiency,
  • preserving jobs and reducing physical work,
  • maintaining the health status of primary production,
  • reducing greenhouse gas impacts,
  • improving the quality of production in organic viticulture.

Expected results

  • increase marketable production through better processing and protection,
  • improved economic performance due to reduced manual labour and lower costs,
  • reducing negative impacts on the environment,
  • better quality of raw material in an organic production system.
