Commitment to sustainability
We are proud to say that we have built on our existing green policy and have achieved, through international standards, the following Green Key environmental label, the leading standard of excellence for environmental responsibility and sustainability in the tourism industry.
The award of the label recognises excellence in
environmental responsibility and sustainable operations.
We declare that:
- We are environmentally friendly in all areas of our business,
- We raise awareness of the importance of sustainability among our visitors, guests, friends and family, and are constantly looking for new solutions for responsible management of natural resources and efficient use of electricity and heat.
This is first and foremost good for the natural environment. In most cases, this kind of environmental care is about small measures that do not involve a great deal of effort or sacrifice of amenity for any of us. It only takes simple and subtle actions. But if we all do them together, we can change the world for the better and leave it to our ancestors.
This is why we are committed to being environmentally responsible with our "sustainability sparkles", and why we encourage our guests to do the same. Awareness-raising is an important prerequisite for obtaining the Green Key label. We would be grateful if you would take our advice into account and help us to preserve the environment.

One of the key decisions that we were delighted to welcome on the occasion of our 170th anniversary was the decision to create an indispensable story in a sustainable way.
Green Key
We truly believe that sustainability is very important in the tourism sector, as it gives us the opportunity to share the values of environmental responsibility with the wider public.
We are proud to have been awarded the Green Key sustainability label, which represents a standard of excellence in sustainable operations in the tourism industry, for two establishments - RG Dom penine and RG bistro.
The label is synonymous with adherence to strict criteria, and by choosing a certified tourist establishment, guests are making a direct contribution to protecting the environment.
Green Scheme for Slovenian Tourism
Turnover RG House of sparkling wines is a recipient of the "Slovenia Green Attraction" sustainability label, the plant RG bistro is a recipient of the Slovenia Green Cuisine label.
By obtaining both, we have become part of the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism, which puts us on the map of all Slovenian destinations and sustainable tourism providers, and guarantees our guests a tourist experience with a sustainably oriented offer.
